Warranty & Repairs
Timbuk2 Lifetime Warranty
We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. All Timbuk2 bags come with a Lifetime Warranty when purchased directly from timbuk2.ca, timbuk2.com, our retail stores, or an authorized reseller.
If there’s a defect in materials or workmanship, we’ll repair the bag at our discretion. Our warranty does not cover:
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Accidental damage or abuse
-
Cosmetic issues that don’t affect functionality (like scratches or stains)
-
Loss of bag contents or time
Please note, apparel and accessories (hats, t-shirts, hoodies, etc.) are not covered by this warranty.
Each Timbuk2 bag is hand-sewn and may include subtle imperfections — part of the character that makes every bag unique.

How it works
Step 01
FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM
Submit a warranty claim and include clear photos of the bag and the specific areas that need repair. This allows our team to assess the issue and determine next steps before anything is shipped.
Step 02
WE REVIEW YOUR CLAIM
Once your claim and photos are submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Our warranty team will review the details and images to determine if the repair qualifies under warranty and whether the bag needs to be sent in. If required, we’ll provide instructions for shipping your bag to our repair centre.
Step 03
EVALUATION & REPAIR
After your item arrives at our repair centre, our team will complete a final evaluation within 2 to 3 business days to confirm the damage and coverage. If approved, please allow approximately 6 to 10 weeks for the repair to be completed.
